The cap is where the name shows
In a graduation photograph the name people read first is the one on the cap. The cap goes on your head with its front facing the camera, so a name on it reads whole without anyone having to turn or lean in. The stole carries a name too, but it falls over the shoulders and wraps. A name on the gown only reads from a distance.
At nursery and KG ceremonies in particular the cap is the piece people ask about first. "how much is the cap?" is the question under every photograph of a child graduating, because the cap is the part the child remembers, and it is also the cheapest piece to order when the name is only needed on one thing.
A cap on its own, or inside the set?
The catalogue offers the cap in two ways, and choosing between them is the first decision you make: a cap on its own at its published price, or the cap inside the full set that also brings a gown and a stole. The printing is the same either way. The same studio and the same name confirmation. What differs is what comes with it.
When a cap on its own is what you need
- you already have a gown or a stole and only need the name printed on the cap.
- you are giving it as a gift or a keepsake for a student or a teacher, without a whole set.
- a nursery or KG ceremony. The name on the cap alone, because that is what the child wears.
- you need to replace a cap that has been lost or damaged before the ceremony.
The cap is the cheapest thing in the catalogue right now, at 120 EGP. So if the name is needed on one piece, the cap is the order that costs you least.
And when is the full set the better value?
If you need the cap, the stole and the gown together, the full set brings all three at one published price. The cheapest set is 430 EGP for the three pieces, where the cap alone is 120 EGP. Every one of the three sets contains a printed cap, so your name on the cap comes with it either way.
- Graduation Set with Gold Stole: 430 EGP
- Graduation Set with Maroon Stole: 440 EGP
- Graduation Set with Black Stole: 450 EGP
Each set's own page says what it contains and its colour, and the price is for all three pieces. Gown, cap and stole, with the design and the printing included. a graduation set with a name
The decision is about the occasion itself: a set suits a formal graduation and full-length photographs, while a cap on its own suits a gift, a keepsake or a small party. Both are printed with the name in the same way.
The caps available, and what they cost
Every cap has its price in the open, with no "call us for the price", and the price is for the cap itself. The design and the printing included. The two caps in the catalogue differ in the colour of the print across the front, and each one says so on its own card:

Graduation Cap with Gold Print
Black graduation cap with gold print and a tassel. Choose from 12 designs. 12 ready-made designs to choose from.

Graduation Cap with White Print
Black graduation cap with white print and a tassel. Choose from 3 designs. 3 ready-made designs to choose from.
Where the name goes on the cap
The name goes across the front of the cap, in the rectangular area the studio turns into the print file. Here is that area in centimetres, with the very figures the catalogue records for the piece:
The cap inside a set has its area measured on a different photograph of the piece, and its figures are these:
The cap holds the smallest area in the whole set
Here are the three surfaces of one set, in square centimetres, so you can see the difference for yourself:
The cap holds the smallest printable area in the set, which is why a name on it is shorter and larger at the same time: one word or two read at a glance, and a long name needs setting in the studio. The studio shows you the name on the piece at its real size before you order, not after it is printed.
A long name on a small area
The strip across the front of the cap takes a name of two or three words, and if a name is too long for it the studio shows you that on the cloth before you order. So you reduce the size, shorten the setting or split it into two lines, instead of being surprised after printing.
How the name is written
The name can be written in Arabic with diacritics. The marks above and below the letters, or in English, in any of the fonts. If you type it without the marks, the studio offers a suggestion and you decide: use it, adjust it yourself, or leave the name plain.
You change the font, the size, the colour and the placement until it is right, and if you have a school logo or artwork ready, you add it as an image and set its colour. After you order we call you to confirm the name before it is printed, so it does not get printed wrong.

Questions that come up
What does a cap with a name cost?
The cap is 120 EGP, and that price is for the cap itself. The design and the printing across the front included. If you need the whole set (gown, cap and stole), the cheapest set is 430 EGP. Delivery is 75 EGP in Cairo and Giza and 150 EGP in the other governorates. the price list for the cap and every piece
Can I take a cap on its own, without the set?
Yes, the cap on its own has its own page and its own price in the catalogue, and it is printed exactly the way the cap inside a set is printed. You can start from the cap's page and choose the design yourself.
What is the difference between the cap on its own and the cap in a set?
The same piece and the same process: the same cap, the same studio, and the same phone confirmation of the name before printing. What differs is that the set's cap arrives inside a set that also brings a gown and a stole, and that the printable area recorded for the cap inside a set is measured on a different photograph of the piece, and both of the piece's areas are written out above in centimetres so you can compare them yourself.
How long does the cap take to be made?
Made in 24 to 48 hours from the confirmed order. We call you to confirm the order and the name first, and once it is made it goes out to your governorate.
Can the name be written in Arabic with the marks?
Yes, an Arabic name keeps exactly the marks you write on it, on the cap as well. An English name prints in English, and both are set up in the same studio. the difference between printing and embroidery on a name
