About the The Royal Stole
The Royal Stole is for a stole that gets noticed. The cut covers the shoulders at the back like a small cape, and the wide sides fall to the front, so there is room for a full name on one side, the year or the word Senior on the other, and a line or verse across the back.
The edges are bound in gold piping all the way round, with gold tassels at the centre of the back and at the end of each side. It goes over a gown or everyday clothes and stays put on the shoulders without slipping.

Looking after it
- Do not machine wash: wipe with a cloth and lukewarm water if it gets marked.
- Iron on the reverse at a low setting, never directly on the print.
- Hang it or roll it loosely. Do not leave it folded across the print for long.

How is it different from the standard stole?
The standard stole is a single narrow band for a name or a short line. The Royal Stole is wider and has a back panel, so it holds more lettering in more places and looks grander in photos.
Can I put a verse across the back?
Yes, and short verses in Thuluth or Naskh come out very clearly in gold. Type it with its diacritics in the studio and check the size before you order.
Will I see the design before it is printed?
You see it in the studio on a photo of the piece itself, and after you order we call to confirm the name and details before anything is printed.
Can I order the same design for a whole class?
Yes. Send the quantity and the names on WhatsApp and we prepare the same design for everyone, each with their own name.
