When a stole on its own is what you need
The stole is the piece the name actually shows on in a photograph, which is why a lot of orders stop at the stole alone rather than a whole set. A stole on its own is what you want if:
- you already have a gown or a cap, and you only need the name printed on the stole.
- you are giving it as a gift or a keepsake for a student or a teacher. A full set is not the point.
- you are kitting a whole class out with different names, without needing a full set for every one of them.
- you need to replace a stole that has been lost or damaged before the ceremony.
In every one of those cases the printing is exactly the printing a stole inside a full set gets: the same studio, the same printable area, the same piece.
The stoles available, and what they cost
Every stole has its price in the open, with no "call us for the price", and the price is for the stole itself. The design and the printing included. The stoles differ in their colour and their trim:

How the name gets written on the stole
The name can be written in Arabic with diacritics. The marks above and below the letters, or in English, in any of the fonts. If you type it without the marks, the studio offers a suggestion and you decide: use it, adjust it yourself, or leave the name plain.
Before you order you see the name exactly where it will sit on the stole, and you change the font, the size, the colour and the placement until it is right. If you already have artwork or a school logo, add it as an image and set its colour.
And we call you to confirm the name before it is printed, so it does not get printed wrong.
Open the design studio and try your name on the stole
The stole's size, and where the name goes
The stole is a single piece that sits over the shoulders, and the name is printed on the part that falls down the front. Here is the area the name has to work in. The same figures the studio turns into the print file:
The printable area is what decides how long a name still reads comfortably on the stole, which is why you see the name at its real size on the piece in the studio before you decide.
